Rounds 3 &4 of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB Championship took place at Brands Hatch over the weekend on the short Indy Circuit.
Qualifying took place on Saturday in warm conditions and on his first run Micah set the 5th quickest time in the ultra-competitive field, as the cars pitted for new tyres Micah did the same but on his fastest lap made a mistake in the final corner demoting him to P13 with the entire grid separated by just 1 second.
Lining up on the grid in P13 Micah made a great start making up 2 positions and with rain starting to fall and the cars on slick tyres conditions were getting tricky and on lap 24 the race was stopped. With 5 minutes to go and the cars now on wet tyres the race restarted with a rolling start, Micah made up a number of places and crossed the line in P7.
Race two started with Micah lining up in P7 with heavy rain falling and poor visibility. As the field headed into turn 1, Micah held position until lap 12 where he was nudged back one position. Struggling to get his tyres up to temperature he was now struggling for traction out of the final corner and eventually crossed the line in P13.

“We had a great race in race one and we managed a good result after the mistake in qualifying but in race two I really struggled with traction out of the final corner which eventually led to losing some positions.
Next up is Oulton Park and we will make amends there!”
